When Howard Levitt‘s Ferrari got trapped in raw sewage on Lower Simcoe Street during the Toronto flood on July 8, the labour lawyer couldn’t stick around. He had a plane to catch and a motion to argue.

Levitt, who had to fly out of Toronto to attend a hearing in Ottawa, abandoned his $200,000 vehicle — and made headlines across the country in the process by demonstrating how far he’d be willing to go for his clients.

With his Ferrari gone for repairs, the senior partner of Levitt LLP will now drive his early model Viper.
