Some worthwhile ideas in a NY Times editorial about law firms, layoffs, and the future for law schools: big law firms should make pay cuts all around so more associates can keep their jobs; law schools need to check their tuition so that law students don’t graduate with unmanageable debts and; second and third year at law school should be beefed up with multi-disciplinary, career-enhancing courses.
