Blakes is experiencing great growth this month in an increasing important area of practice: moustache cultivation.
In honour of Movember, three teams of Blakes lawyers have donated their upper lips to raise money in support of Prostate Cancer Canada. They’ve brought in over $30,000 so far — and the month’s only half done.
“I am doing this because I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and treated for it earlier this year,” says Anoop Dogra (pictured), Blakes Securities Group Partner, proud moustache-sporter, and captain of the Stash4CashBros team. “I am also doing this because 4,400 men die of prostate cancer in Canada each year and one in six men will be diagnosed during his lifetime.”
