In addition to the four students hired back, the firm has hired three additional students as first-year associates. One clerked for the Superior Court of Justice (Divisional Court), one completed his articles at the Constitutional Law Branch of the Attorney General (Ontario) and one is relocating from Calgary after completing her articles with an international firm. In addition, the firm will welcome back a student who articled with them during the 2017/2018 articling year following the completion of her post-articling clerkship with the Supreme Court of Canada.

In addition to the students hired back, the firm has hired four associates who, respectively, clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Court of Appeal of Alberta and the Superior Court of Justice. They will start in September.
