Howie, Sacks & Henry Annual Celebration 2016

Steven Page crooned some of his biggest hits for Toronto lawyers

Howie, Sacks & Henry Annual Celebration @ Aracadian Court - January 21st, 2016

What: Howie, Sacks & Henry Annual Celebration
Where: Arcadian Court, Toronto
When: January 21, 2016

There was no foul winter weather to keep lawyers from heading to the annual bash that Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP throws every year.

By 6 p.m., the place was packed. A magician worked the room, dazzling guests with card tricks — which, on their own, made the party a hit. (Seriously, he was that good!) But that wasn’t even the main event: Steven Page, the former Barenaked Ladies frontman, played a four-song set in the the gorgeously high-ceilinged Arcadian Court. And after the show, Page posed with party-goers for souvenir photos.

Meanwhile, tucked into the corner at the back was a games table with prizes alongside a self-serve candy bar.

“This event is just one way we say thank you to all those who support us and allow us to continue to help seriously injured accident victims,” said David Levy, the managing partner of Howie, Sacks & Henry, one of the city’s leading personal injury firms. “The work we do involves (and in some ways depends upon) so many others, including both our colleagues at the bar and those in the medical community.”
