8th annual Lerners Extraordinary Women’s Extravaganza

A classy evening with a 1920s Prohibition theme

Lerners' 8th Annual Extraordinary Women's Extravaganza - April 3, 2013

What: Lerners Extraordinary Women’s Extravaganza
Where: Main Lobby, 130 Adelaide St. West
When: April 3, 2013

Now in its eighth year, Lerners LLP’s popular Extraordinary Women’s Extravaganza has outgrown its offices and moved into the marble lobby of its Adelaide St. tower. A themed event, this year was all about the 1920s Prohibition era — but that doesn’t mean it was dry. In addition to a lovely wine selection (paired with a beautiful cheese & chocolate table, appetizers and an oyster bar), flaming and smoldering cocktails were shaken, fired and poured — much to the delight of guests — by the event’s mix-masters.

“Year over year, our guests tell us how much they appreciate the atmosphere of our Extraordinary Women’s Extravaganza, so we work hard to keep it primarily social and informal,” says Lisa Munro, co-managing partner of Lerners’ Toronto office. “It’s an evening where women come together to catch up with friends or reconnect with classmates, and in some cases, it leads to setting a time for a business conversation in the future.”

Next to a screen showing silent black and white movies, a three-piece jazz band provided the perfect backdrop for an exceptional evening of networking for some of Toronto’s most established businesswomen and legal professionals. One of Canada’s largest litigation groups, Lerners has offices in Toronto and London, Ontario.
