The backstory: Kit and Ace is a new Canadian co-ed clothier founded by Shannon Wilson and her stepson JJ (the wife and the son of Chip Wilson, the guy who started Lululemon). Their signature material is called “technical cashmere” — a pre-shrunk blend of Mongolian cashmere, cotton, elastene and nylon that, when combined, can survive the washing machine.
