Meet Matthew Dewar.  He’s an employment and labour law associate at Lang Michener LLP in Toronto. He’s also the founder and lead singer of ’80s cover band B.A. Baracus. The two-member band, who take their name from Mr. T’s A-Team alter-ego, reproduce everyone’s favourite ’80s tunes on a hand drum and guitar.

Dewar kicks in a kazoo to fill in for any missing part — horns, backup singers — the result is pure nostalgia. Dewar, now 34, has been performing since he was 16, but can’t decide on a favourite ’80s song. Since he’s a hardworking Bay Street associate, may we suggest Loverboy’s “Working for the Weekend”?

Listen to the B.A. Baracus Band perform a selection of their songs here.
