“I remember the first day like it was yesterday,” says David Levy of his time as a “wet-behind-the-ears junior associate” when Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP opened its doors. Now Levy’s celebrating his first year as the new managing partner, while the personal injury firm celebrated its 15th anniversary at the Arcadian Court on Thursday, January 15.
Nearly 350 guests gathered to celebrate — most of them lawyers — and enjoyed HSH-themed everything: games, swag and even a special drink in the firm’s signature blue. Black Belt Jones played the tunes while an illusionist worked the crowd.
The firm has a lot to celebrate: in 15 years they’ve grown from three partners to eight. As for the next 15?
“More of the same,” says Levy. “We’re not averse to growing, but we don’t feel we need to go looking for it either, just for the sake of being bigger. We only do one thing, and we like to think we do it really well.”
