pollAccording to our recent poll, 55 percent of Precedent readers have personal experience with inappropriate sexual behaviour at law firm parties or events — an increase from the preliminary numbers we reported on our blog earlier this month.

The 55 percent figure includes people who indicated that an incident happened to them personally, occurred at a party they were at, or was described to them by a friend or colleague who witnessed it.

A quarter of voters indicated they’d heard only rumours of incidents, while 20 percent said that they’d encountered nothing besides the big stories reported in the mainstream media.

Full, final results:

24.8 percent I’ve heard rumours about incidents (37 votes)
