Canadian Lawyers Abroad celebrates six years

What: Canadian Lawyers Abroad “Rights of Spring” cocktail party
When: Wednesday, June 1
Where: Globalive’s SHAMBA foundation, Toronto

Precedent hit the party circuit earlier this month, celebrating six years of fantastic legal work in Canada’s north and overseas with Canadian Lawyers Abroad (CLA). CLA has been working tirelessly to benefit the lives of those who are underserved throughout the world, travelling to Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, the Yukon and more — but they also know how to throw a great party!

Globalive’s SHAMBA foundation in Toronto was packed with about 200 lawyers and law students. Ontario Securities Commission Chair Howard Wetston spoke about the importance of the rule of law.

Precedent would like to congratulate Canadian Lawyers Abroad on doing such a wonderful service to the international community. Here’s to six more years!
