How do you know when you aren’t at an average office warming party? Easy. When there’s a milkshake bar.
That’s exactly what Smart & Biggar LLP decided to include as it opened its doors last week to show off its new digs.
Lawyers, clients and other members of the IP community took the elevator up to the 11th floor where they were greeted by a harpist playing top 40s jams. Guests mingled and checked out the new office while nibbling charcuterie off of clipboards and sipping on bourbon-laced milkshakes.
“Our goal for the new space was for it to be a place where our professionals can do their best work for our clients,” says Mark Evans, managing partner at the firm. “We also wanted the design to reflect the work we do for our clients every day — it’s innovative, collaborative, and inspires creativity.”
While the new office definitely provides space for hard work, it also provides a pretty awesome spot for a party.
