What: Korean Canadian Lawyers Association 2016 launch party
Where: Goodmans LLP, 333 Bay Street, Toronto
When: March 24, 2016
Lawyers, law students and community leaders came together last week to kick off the new year with the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association (KCLA). The party took place at Goodmans LLP, which also sponsored the event, and offered guests the opportunity to meet the new executive committee and learn about upcoming initiatives and events the group has in the works.
“This event was truly a reflection of what we want to achieve this year,” said Richard Ha, the president of the KCLA. “We want to build bridges and strong partnerships with other community organizations to better serve both the Korean-Canadian and broader Canadian community, solidify strong relationships between and amongst all Korean-Canadian members of the bar, support soon-to-be-members of the bar and, perhaps most importantly, support our community by facilitating access to legal services and legal education.”
“We are excited for the year ahead!” he added.
