Having a bebe means that now, I have another person to go shopping for. When we shop for clothes, she’s got an advantage over me. Everything looks good on her, everything fits, and she has no figure flaws to watch out for. And I’m not saying my baby is exceptional, I’m saying this is the case for all babies.
But the best part of shopping for children is the sizing. I love that kids clothes are sized by age. Right now I’m busy with 0-3 months, but the age-based sizing goes all the way up to 4-years-old. Then it stops. But I say, this method of sizing should go right up to adult sizes.
How awesome would it be to walk into Zara or Jacob and buy the 30 years old size? So convenient, and helpful for women who dress inappropriately for their age. 45 years old and looking for a sequined miniskirt? Sorry, it only comes in 22-24 years.
25 and seeking a houndstooth double-breasted blazer? Nope, only available in 50 years.
Over 40? We’ll get you slightly higher waists, so we don’t have to see any 40 years old butt cracks (no offense).
And the 50 years size would have greater butt and boob support to account for the sagging. No deep v-necks in size 55 years so that jowls and crepey necks can be concealed.
Brilliant plan, right? Who’s with me?
