Tourism Queensland is looking to hire someone for "the best job in the world"

Getting a little uneasy about the stability of your job? The weather? Your tan? Fret no more. Paradise Island is hiring. Simply compile a 60-second video of yourself explaining why you deserve to be the guardian of the Great Barrier Reef – an occupation dreamt up by the good folks at Tourism Queensland in Australia. The viral job listing advertised as The Best Job In The World boasts a 150,000 Australian dollar paycheck for six months of work at – hold your breath – 12 hours a month. The succesful applicant will be put up rent-free in a three-bedroom villa, where, presumably, he or she will be responsible for cleaning the pool. The job requirements include swimming, snorkeling, sailing, diving, and generally exploring the island’s lush tropical landscape. Oh, and feeding the fish.
