Thanks to everyone who entered our contest to win passes to see The Lincoln Lawyer (now in theatres). We received more entries for this draw than for anything else we’ve ever given away on our blog. Clearly, Precedent readers love Matthew McConaughey, or movies about lawyers who run their practices from the back seats of cars, or free stuff — or, most likely, a combination of all of these things.
We also got a kick out of reading everyone’s replies to our entry questions: what kind of car you’d use if you operated a four-wheeled legal practice, and what your vanity licence plate would be (The Lincoln Lawyer’s plate reads “NTGUILTY”). Though the hilarity of their replies was not a factor (we chose the winning entries at random), we can’t resist sharing some of the winners’ answers:
