Well, our who-will-represent-Bryant poll was short lived. It was announced yesterday that Marie Henein will be Bryant’s defence counsel (Henein got 19 percent of the votes from our readers). The Osgoode alum, who learned the ropes at Eddie Greenspan’s office and later became his partner, has plenty of experience with high-profile cases. She’s been running her own firm since 2002 and is also a part-time prof at her law school alma mater. Given her skill and experience, she’s a perfect pick for this high-pressure job.
