You’re not alone if you’ve never heard of Airship37. At this unique venue, tucked between the Distillery and the railway tracks above Lakeshore, Stockwoods rolled out the red carpet to welcome its new partner Michal Fairburn. Featuring two silver Airstream trailers, the wood-covered front room opens onto a private courtyard and links to a large backroom with a bar and stage. On that same stage, guests were treated to the inaugural concert by Trafford, Stockwoods’ in-house band.
“It was our great pleasure to invite our friends and colleagues to help us welcome Michal Fairburn, our new partner. “ said Luisa Ritacca, a partner at Stockwoods and the coordinator of this special event. “We wanted the party to be exciting for Michal and for our guests and we knew that having Trafford play live for the first time ever would be a special treat. The band worked tirelessly for the last several weeks and it certainly showed.”
Following a couple of glowing speeches and an official welcome to Fairburn, the band kicked off a set of rock classics — a perfect way to celebrate the start of a new professional relationship (there may even have been a little dancing).
