Seven law firms are facing off next month in the Oxfam Trailwalker, a gruelling, 48-hour endurance hike. Teams of four from Fogler Rubinoff, Paliare Roland, Blakes, Osler, McMillan, Davies and Ormston List Frawley will join hundreds of other entrants as they traverse 100 kilometres of the Ganaraska Trail from July 13 to 15. The first of the legal teams to complete the course will be awarded the prestigious Lawyers’ Cup.

It’s not too late to form a team of your own, but be warned: this ain’t no leisurely stroll. This is a team-building endurance and event stretching from Wasaga Beach to Midland. It’s all in support of Oxfam Canada’s programs aimed at ending global poverty, with a focus on girls’ and women’s rights. Teams of four raise a minimum of $2,500 to enter, and must start and finish together.
