Roosevelt RoomNew to the Toronto club district, a taste of old Hollywood. The Roosevelt Room, billed as “Toronto’s first true supper club experience,” opened its doors November 6th.

The space takes its inspiration from the roaring ’20s with an updated art deco design courtesy of HGTV’s Designer Guys, a contemporary French menu (just like they ate at the first Academy Awards dinner) created by Chef Trevor Wilkinson and an in-house mixologist serving up era-suitable cocktails like sidecars and mint juleps.

The only thing missing is the big band jazz, replaced by a DJ spinning a more familiar mix of Top 40 and dance music (no need to attempt the Charleston).
