Award-winning Canadian novelist Lawrence Hill headlines a sold-out reception at the Law Society of Upper Canada tomorrow night to mark Black History Month.

Hill is author of a memoir Black Berry, Sweet Juice: On Being Black and White in Canada and the 2007 novel The Book of Negroes, for which he won the Commonwealth Writers’ Best Book Prize.

The event — to feature a book signing and discussion with Hill — is hosted by the Law Society and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
