What: Firm Opening Cocktails at Ruby Shiller & Enenajor Barristers

The firm of the top-shelf litigators Clayton Ruby and Brian Shiller recently made two big moves. One, it relocated its office from Yorkville to one of the few remaining Victorian houses on Isabella Street. And two, it made Annamaria Enenajor — who only joined the firm in 2015 — a named partner.
To celebrate, the firm threw a party at its new office. The building itself is striking. It features stained and frosted glass windows, intricate mouldings and ceiling medallions, as well as a collection of beautiful old clocks and wooden furniture.
Not surprisingly, most guests gathered around the bar, which, in this case, was set up on the landing at the top of the main staircase. A variety of delicious canapés also made their way through the party-goers.
Many of the visitors were there to congratulate Enenajor on her admission to the partnership. “Annamaria is great lawyer,” said Ruby. “I’m honoured to be associated with her.”
