YWLA lunchtime panel next week aims to demonstrate to reluctant women lawyers some of the positive attributes of a Bay Street legal career.

On Monday, May 9, beginning at noon, Young Women in Law is teaming up with the Ontario Bar Association at the OBA’s conference centre at 20 Toronto Street to present “Women on Bay Street.” This program “seeks to answer the question ‘Why stay on Bay?’ and to provide some insight into the range of jobs  available to lawyers on Bay — there are more options than you think.”

It’s the first in a series of discussions aimed at examining the unique issues faced by women lawyers on Bay Street.
