Author and PEN International president John Ralston Saul will deliver the keynote speech at a reception next Thursday to mark the 25th anniversary of U of T Law’s International Human Rights Program.

The event will also celebrate the launch of the Transformative Human Rights Exhibition, which profiles major advances in the field of international human rights law “through the lens of IHRP students,” according to a news release.

Saul heads PEN International, a global association of writers. He’s also the long-time partner of former governor general Adrienne Clarkson.

The event is Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the University of Toronto Art Centre. You can buy tickets here.
