How to finish your holiday shopping without leaving the PATH

This new pop-up store has perfect gifts for everyone on your list

Remember when I wrote, a few months back, that the PATH has become cool? Well, I’m here to tell you that it is also so chic.

This is all thanks to the Trouvaille Holiday Shop, a new pop-up store in Commerce Court. When I first visited the location, it felt like I had stepped into the pages of an interior-design magazine. The boutique market brings an expertly curated collection of fashion and interior-design products to the heart of the PATH. Better still, it features an assortment of Canadian-made products and brands. So this holiday season, forget the crowds at the Eaton Centre. This is your one-stop shop for gift buying.

To make your busy winter even easier, I asked Trouvaille’s owner and founder, Britt Barkwell, to build a holiday shopping list with the working lawyer in mind. Here are three items — all of them available at her store — and who they’d be perfect for in your life.

ccespressoFor your boss: Espresso cups and saucers from Saudade

Inspired by patterns that are common in Portuguese cobblestone, this new collection — created by designer Manoela Medeiros — is a special tribute to Lisbon.

cashmere-slippersFor your assistant: Cashmere slide slippers from White and Warren

After a hectic workday, your assistant will love slipping into these exceptionally soft (and subtly elegant) knit cashmere slippers.

pajamas-monogramFor your loved ones: Monogramed KIP pajama set

This limited-edition set features buttery soft Egyptian cotton, along with subtle silver darting detail and champagne piping.

You can visit the Trouvaille Holiday Shop during business hours Monday to Friday. It closes on December 21.
