The Canadian chapter of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO) was launched this past Wednesday evening with the incredible support of Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP.

Hosted at Kultura Restaurant on Queen Street West, the event highlighted the significant needs of the over 140 million orphans around the world. Founded in 1997 by the exceptional Dr. Jane Aronson, the WWO provides programs to children suffering from HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia and Vietnam, as well as early intervention programs in Bulgaria, Vietnam and Azerbaijan.

With generous donations from individuals and organizations such as RBC Dexia, the Canadian chapter will be in a position to make a positive change in the lives of orphans across the world. Check out these photos to see some of the smiling supporters.
