Keep an eye out for the Spring 2012 issue of Precedent, which lands on desks and at law schools this week.

A few highlights from the new issue:

  • Breaking bad: When it comes to reducing crime, harsh punishment is not the only answer. Compassion and creativity can take us further, Kim Hart Macneill reports in the cover story.
  • Best Practices: Employment lawyer Hermie Abraham is part of a loose collective of lawyers redefining how to work and live as solo practitioners. Crystal Luxmore visits her at her east end home office.
  • Going In House: Lawyers Sandy Forbes and Stephen Grant invite Precedent into their North Toronto home for a tour. Grant shows us his idea of a man cave — two wine fridges; one exclusively for Burgundy.

Check back here throughout the week as we roll out stories and features from the new issue.
