One of Barack Obama's campaign advisors spoke at a Black History Month event

The Canadian Association of Black Lawyers partnered with the Law Society of Upper Canada in February to celebrate Black History Month. Over 200 lawyers crowded into the Society’s Convocation Hall in Toronto to hear an address from one of US President Barack Obama’s campaign advisors. Detroit lawyer  (pictured left) spoke to guests about the early days of the Obama campaign and the bright future ahead for today’s black lawyers. Learn more about CABL at cabl.ca
