In an announcement that confirmed prior rumours, Miller Thomson today revealed a merger with Saskatchewan firm Balfour Moss. This latest expansion positions Miller Thomson as the sole national firm with a foothold in the prairie province.
Balfour Moss, founded in 1895, is a full-service firm of 24 lawyers, with offices in Regina and Saskatoon. Miller Thomson, fresh off a rebrand and website redesign, has now positioned itself nicely to service clients doing business in Canada’s fastest-growing provincial economy.
This move marks the sixth merger Miller Thomson has completed since 1999. The Toronto-based firm also has offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Markham and Montréal.
