It’s been ten years already — ten years, that is, since the birth of the Ontario chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. And to mark the occasion the chapter threw a party, in late July, at the Drake One Fifty in downtown Toronto.
“We have a lot to celebrate,” says Alan Ritchie, president of the Ontario Chapter. “Our chapter was the first in Canada, and has led the way for three other Canadian chapters.”
And they’ve become the go-to organization, he adds, that in-house lawyers turn to for education, global resources and networking opportunities.
“In the past 10 years, ACC Ontario has become part of the fabric of the in-house legal community,” says Ritchie. “We are really excited by what the next 10 years will bring!”
