The Precedent Setter Awards are back!

We’re seeking to recognize lawyers called between 2000 and 2010 who excel and show leadership in their practices and their communities. Nominations are being accepted now through February 15th.

What makes a Precedent Setter? Our 2010 winners include:

  • a social networking maven who’s the only female business law practitioner in her hometown of Cornwall;
  • a DOJ litigator and equity advocate;
  • a fast-rising Bay Street partner and dedicated board member;
  • a karate black belt who helped launch her firm’s Women’s Professional Development Committee;
  • an investment lawyer with a passion for pro bono work; and
  • an immigration lawyer with his own practice who came to Canada in 1997 as a refugee from Kenya.

Know someone whose first decade as a lawyer deserves some recognition? Nominate them today! Click here for all the nomination details. We’ll announce the winners in the Summer 2011 edition of Precedent.
