The 2011 Precedent Setter Awards

The Precedent Setters are making strides. Here are this year's winners

awards

What makes a Precedent Setter?

In a word: Excellence. Each year, the Precedent Setter Awards recognize six excellent lawyers in their first ten years of practice. These winners do things differently from the rest, taking chances out of the gate to become leaders in their practice areas and their communities.

They’re the lawyers we envy — an advocate challenging the way the courts view the mentally ill, an M&A superstar, the Supreme Court Chief Justice’s right-hand woman, a dynamite litigator, a zealous entrepreneur and a collaborator merging health and law.

Precedent is proud to shine a light on these young stars. Their passion and hard-won experience proves that lawyers don’t have to be 25 years out of law school to make a mark on the world.

Meet the best of the new generation.
